I love technology and I love the gadgets that come with it. Here is a small smattering of what I use on a daily basis, in no particular order:

In My Purse

  • Nikon S210, for point-and-shoot photos (black)
  • Nikon D50, for manual, artistic photos (too big to be actually IN my purse, but you get the idea)
  • Flip Ultra, for amazing high-quality videos (white)
  • BlackBerry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile (sangria red)
  • Nintendo DS Lite, to combat boredom (pink)
  • Sansa SanDisk 4gb Mp3 player, for tunage (black)*

Computers

  • iMac 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, running OS X 10 (Snow Leopard)
  • Compaq Evo N410c, running Ubuntu 9.10
  • Gaming PC running Windows XP

Organization

  • Mail, for email
  • iCal, syncs with Google Calendar
  • Remember The Milk, for to-do lists
  • iPhoto, for organizing photos
  • Stickies, for random notes
  • iTunes, syncs with Last.fm for podcasts.

Essential Applications – OS X

  • Firefox and Safari, for browsing
  • iChat
  • Adobe Photoshop CS2, for expert photo manipulation or LOLCat making
  • Cyberduck, a semi-reliable FTP client
  • ffmpegX, to get my videos into a reasonable size
  • Kompozer
  • Open Office
  • Picasa, easy photo correction
  • Transmission

Essential Applications – Internet

  • Google Reader
  • WordPress
  • Posterous
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • …etc (I use a lot!)
